1. Introduction

At Cape Web Designers, we value transparency and fairness in our business practices. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and cancellations are handled for services and products rendered by Cape Web Designers.


2. Non-Refundable Items and Services

The following items and services are strictly non-refundable:

  • Deposits Paid: All deposits paid for services are non-refundable. Deposits secure time and resources, and are considered part of our commitment to commence work on your project.

  • Business Card Printing and Design: Due to the customised nature of business card design and printing, no refunds are provided once work has commenced or printing has been initiated.

  • Early Contract Cancellation: If the client cancels a service contract without providing at least three (3) calendar months’ prior written notice, no refunds will be issued for any fees already paid or scheduled during that notice period.


3. Contract Cancellations

  • Clients must provide three (3) months’ written notice for cancellation of any ongoing web design, hosting, maintenance, or retainer-based agreements.

  • If notice is not provided as required, the client remains liable for payment of the remaining contract period and no refund will be issued for pre-paid services.


4. Exceptions (If Applicable)

Refunds or credits may be considered only in exceptional cases, such as:

  • Proven failure to deliver services as explicitly outlined in a signed agreement or scope of work;

  • Cancelled services due to operational incapacity on the part of Cape Web Designers.

Any such exceptions remain at the sole discretion of Cape Web Designers management and will require written motivation.


5. Dispute Resolution

Should a dispute arise regarding services rendered or amounts payable, clients are encouraged to contact us directly at info@capewebdesigners.co.za to seek a resolution. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be referred to independent mediation or adjudication in accordance with South African law.


6. Legal Compliance

This policy is drafted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and other relevant South African legislation. Where applicable, clients’ statutory rights remain protected.
